Honors Fund is investing $25M in first checks into student/faculty software startups — and has capacity to significantly grow our positions through follow-on investments. Our typical first check is $250k.
We're a sub-fund within CEAS investments I, LLC, an investment vehicle within a single family office in Delray Beach, FL.
We've backed 25 awesome teams so far, deploying over $10M. Most times we are the first six-figure investor. Sometimes we are the first investor to support the team.
Blake Hatten is the lead investor of Honors Fund, with support from Noah Isserman PhD.

<REQUIREMENTS>
Software-based — Your company must be software-based with an in-house tech team or have plans to take it in-house.
Student/faculty-founded — At least one founder is a student, recent grad (< 12 months), post-doc, or faculty member with plans to pursue the company full-time.
Incorporated — Your company must be incorporated, but other than that, there’s no such thing as too early.
